A. The Long Room is ideal for music and dancing whether with a live band or a DJ. Q. Do you allow smoking? A. Smoking is not allowed in the building itself but is permitted on the balcony. Q. Is there parking at the Club? A. There are no parking restrictions opposite the venue after 10.30am Mon-Fri or at Weekends. However, please check with the House Manager as we do get occaisional high tides Q. Can I bring my own caterers? A. We have an excellent in-house caterer who runs an outside catering operation from our kitchen. Therefore it is not possible to allow other caterers to use our facilities. Q. Can I bring my own drinks? A. Although we have a full licensed bar and wine list we do allow clients to supply their own wine with a modest corkage charge. Q. What happens if I would like a sit down meal followed by dancing? A. This is not unusual. After the meal we remove some of the tables and chairs to form a dance floor. Q. Can I get an extension for the bar and music past midnight? A. We have to close at midnight as we have residents living above the function rooms. We do however allow time for guests to finish their drinks & say goodbyes. Q. Can I leave presents/decorations overnight? A. We are happy to look after your belongings at the end of a party to be collected at a more convenient time. -----------------------------------------------
