Fairbairn Room
|
The Fairbairn Room is the
reception area for the club. It also offers a space where
guests can gather & talk away from the main party.
The room is often used for drinks and canapes before dinner. The
seating is movable and can be arranged according to your needs. It
is ideal for childrens parties.
There is access to the bar.
Conferences often use this area for lunch.
|
The Fairbairn Room was officially opened by
the Racing Driver Graham Hill in 1972. He wore the London Rowing Club
colours on his helmet, a tradition that was continued by his son Damon.
