They all love the London Rowing Club in Putney as a venue for conferences & workshops. The central yet tranquil location offers an easily reached conference facility that feels miles away from the City. Feedback repeatedly mentions that delegates relax far more quickly at the Club than at an hotel & become more productive. Brainstorming & training sessions have been a particular success. Our daily delegate rate of £55 per person includes room hire & set up, refreshments through the day & a 2 course buffet lunch. Other options are available on request. Transport from central London couldn't be simpler. Putney BR is 15 minutes from Waterloo with up to 10 trains an hour off peak. Putney Bridge tube is on the District line to Wimbledon. Both stations are 10 minutes walk from the Club. Alternatively, charter a boat and arrive in style, disembarking at Putney pier. Overlooking the start of the Boat Race, London Rowing Club is one of the oldest and most famous rowing clubs in the world with a long history of success in a British flagship sport. The atmosphere of the Club reflects this, surrounding the visitor with trophies and mementoes from the Club`s long history. Revenue from the function rooms goes to support and maintain the Club and it's boats.
Our outstanding catering team are happy to tailor their menus to your requests with breakfasts through to dinners. They can also provide lighter working lunches or a Barbecue; whatever your day requires. The layout of the rooms is ideal for large groups that need to split into smaller teams, while the Members Room works well with smaller numbers or even one to one coaching. There is also the added bonus of the outside space of the large balcony with views up and down the River Thames.
